Capture of Yvonne the Cow – The action stirred up a lot of media interest. Yvonne escaped several months before and had been living covertly in Bavarian forests. At the beginning of September 2011 we immobilised Yvonne by blowpipe in order to take her to an animal sanctuary. She behaved like a "Toro Bravo" and clinical consultation led to the diagnosis of an almost plum-sized left ovarian follicle, which was then treated successfully.
